A special young lady shall be turning 21 very soon, and boy has that time flown by!
This particular birthday is the whole reason how I stumbled across digi stamping. I'd been looking for quite some time for something for my Niece's 21st birthday, and when I saw Bodacious Bev from KennyK I knew my search was over. The image reminded me of my Niece, and the lil hottie she is ;) It also introduced me to the wonderful world of digi stamping.
The lovely Bev has been coloured with my Pro Markers. I've turned her into a bunny girl by adding some bunny ears, & then decoupaged her.
The card has been made with Miss Mint's Wild hearts papers from Peppermint Creative
I'd fallen in love with cheesecloth, which I've seen on lots of your lovely cards, but I couldn't find any. So in an attempt to make my card textured I used a bit of everything...feathers, lace, paper lace organza, & angel hair, along with lots of layers. I'd also fallen in love with the hat pins that are very popular at the moment, again I couldn't find any in my local craft shop, so I thought I'd have a go at making my own. I was quite pleased with the results.
The hat pins sparkle quite nicely, along with the organza, and the bit of glitter I added to Bev's bodice & earing.
I decided to make it into an easel card. It just needs a verse now, & and a matching box.

Thanks for looking, and your much appreciated comments. Apologies for the lack of blog love this week, I've been trying to get up to date in the real world, sadly has to be done, so that I can play in blog, & craft land! I shall be back loving soon! lol
