Tag it!

Wow the time is flying by, I've been a little quiet because we've had family visiting from the other side of the world, so crafting has temporarily been on hold, starting to get back into the flow again now. Although a tidy up of my craft room before the visit has resulted in me not being able to find anything now! lol

It's back around to challenge time again at Aud Sentiments. For this challenge we are so excited to have Tickled Pink Stamps as our sponsor. They are giving the winner a lovely prize.

Here is a little bit about them...Cute, Quirky and Pink!  They are an Australian online company - owner Kellie has 3 very active children who keep her busy outside of craftland!  Personally, I think they have a gorgeous range of images, some are beautiful, some more quirky - really something for everyone!  Please pop over and take a peek!

OK, now onto the challenge. We want to see you TAG IT!  This means that whatever you make, your sentiment needs to be shown on a tag!  So, you could just make a tag - or you could make a wheelbarrow full of elephants with a tiny tag hanging on it! Just don't forget your sentiment!

Tickled Pink very generously gave the design team a choice of a digi each. (Thank you TP)
Wow, overload so many gorgeous stamps to choose from, this was a challenge in it's self. In the end I couldn't narrow it down to one, so a couple of other digi's may of fallen into my shopping basket (whoops).
The digi I chose for this challenge though was 20's Evie. Isn't she a doll?

I decided she looked ready for a cruise, and with family visiting from overseas, travel was quite a theme around me at the time. I made my card to look like a luggage bag, and of course that gave me the perfect base for the all important luggage tag with my sentiment on.

I placed a few travel images onto some kraft card, with a little emphasis on french things, they sat nicely with my sentiment, and it is Tour De France time.
A couple of strips of brown card made belts, with the addition on some sizzix buckles, and photo corners made nice corners for the edge of the luggage.
A nestabilities label die, cut in half made a handle. Finished off with the all important sentiment tag tied on with twine, and the gorgeous Evie with the addition of a luggage case for herself.

I would like to enter the following challenges with my card

Whoopsi Daisy Challenge - Use up your stash - Those buckles are years old!
Incy Wincy Designs - Dust it off challenge - Those buckles are years old!
Pile it on - kick back and relax- What's more relaxing than a vacation!
The Paper Shelter Challenge - 73 - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - Link Party

Have a nice weekend. Fingers crossed for some sunny weather here in the UK.

FRIEND

It's Challenge time again over at Aud Sentiments.
For this fortnights challenge we would like to see you use the word "FRIEND" on your projects.

For this challenge we are so excited to have Polka Doodles as our sponsor. They are giving the winner the three images that the DT were lucky enough to use. (Thank you) So get yourselves over to Aud Sentiments and take a look at the cards from the DT.
Here is a little bit about Polka Doodles...

Our passion for what we do will help inspire you to create stunning projects and enable you to make beautiful cards, gifts and memories for your loved ones. .......don't just print it - Polkadoodle it!
 ***
For my card I've used the lovely daisy image. I've printed a few different sizes onto pink and aubergine paper, then cut and layered the daisy to give it lots of dimension. I then printed a couple of the leaves onto green paper and placed them underneath. Added a button, a band with SPECIAL FRIEND & then added to some pink and purple layered papers.

I'd printed quite a few daisy's. I wasn't quite sure how many I was going to use on my card so whilst I had the papers handy and my craft stuff out, I made a second card with all the bits for a lady who was celebrating her 80th birthday. This time I added a bit of bling to the flower with some glitter.

I quite like this digi, because you can use it as a flat image, or make beautiful flower embellishments with it.

I'd like to enter the following challenges
The Paper Shelter - 71- Flower Power 3 flowers to make one beauty :)
Crafty Card Makers 71- create your own flowers 3 flowers to make 1 beauty :)
